Please review the budget estimate breakdown numbers that Raymond J. Bednarski, AIA, LEED AP, President & CEO Kideney Architects, P.C. had prepared for the HCS team using their construction estimator based on the drawings as a checkpoint to compare pricing. Numbers highlighted in the illustration in Black are actual savings numbers that have been achieved with the tireless efforts of Our Building & Planning Secretary Sri. Steve Saxena Ji who has helped secure contractor pricing allowing for a savings margin in the 30-50% range along with steadfast support and help from Mr. Sany Chavan and the EC Team. As Patrons and valued members of HCS of WNY, we can stay assured that all the jobs were bid by 2-3 + Contractors and Verified by members of the Executive Committee. The decision to replace Windows with All new windows was made with Aesthetics and energy efficiency in mind by the members of the Executive committee. On certain occasions contractors made a presentation to Executive Committee team with the Architect in presence. The entirety of the work completed till date is according to CODE and Materials procured came with the recommendations of the Architect and required by Town of Amherst. We are happy to report that we are under Budget with a cost savings to the Temple of $ 539,272. Thanks to the team work, informed decision making in the selection of contractors by members of the 2023 Executive Committee, we are on target to reopening the doors to Our Mandir (Big Building and Youth Center) in September 2023. Architect’s projected Budget is $1,304,400 compared to HCS Expenses till date of $765,128.
